The FAN-53T ceiling fan remote control replacement is a transmitter only and does not include a receiver. Before ordering, please ensure that your original remote control matches this one exactly, and that your original receiver is still functional.

This remote features 4 buttons for controlling the ceiling fan: 3 speed (HI/ MED/ LOW) buttons and an OFF button. The Light/dimmer button turns the light on/off and dims the brightness. The dimmer is compatible with incandescent, halogen bulbs, and dimmable LED/ CFL Lamps, but non-dimmable LED lights only have an ON/OFF function. The FAN-53T remote replacement is suitable for Harbor Breeze, Hampton Bay, Hunter, Litex, and other compatible remotes. It requires a 28R receiver, which is not included. Please note that this remote does not have a reverse function. It will only work if your ceiling fan has a physical forward/reverse switch on the motor. You cannot change the direction with this remote. DIP Code Pairing Before using, be sure to set the same DIP codes on this transmitter to match the receiver inside your ceiling fan. To pair the codes: 1. Look for the DIP codes inside the original remote with the battery cover off. The DIP switches are hidden behind the battery slot as shown in the picture. 2. Slide the switches in the new remote to match the same pattern as the original remote. 3. Install a new 9V battery (not included) in the new remote, and it should work.
